Today marks the 43rd anniversary if the day my parents were married. Through good and bad, sickness and health, richer or poorer, they’ve worked hard to love each other and to honor promises made that day.
I love you, Mom and Dad! I am so glad God chose you to be my parents.

A balloon guy was at the company picnic yesterday. The whole time I was there, a long line was in front of him as he twisted balloons into shapes. He is really creative and made animals, storybook characters, and basketball players – whatever the person in front of him asked for, he created it from balloons and a bit of red or black marker.

Every once in a while, we have these white mushrooms that grow in our yard. I always think they look like Smurf houses and want to run out and paint the tops red with white polka dots
