I just finished reading this book a couple of days ago. It was recommended in a recent blog post by Emily at a blog called Jones Design Company (jonesdesigncompany.com, I think).
It’s turned out to be a book that is now stuck in my brain and pops into conversations at random times when the current conversation triggers a memory of a passage in the book.
I love books like that.

This beautiful monument depicting the Oklahoma Land Run of 1889 is in the Bricktown section of downtown Oklahoma City. I love to stop by to see it when I have a few minutes.

Today on my drive home, my eyes were drawn over and over to the shades of blue in the sky behind the fluffy white clouds. Don’t you just love looking up into a beautiful, blue sky? It always brings a smile to my face. Oklahoma’s blue sky is one of the prettiest I’ve ever seen.
