I’m inordinately excited that I finally got a photo of the moon that actually looks like the moon and not a little white light shining from the distance.

Last night, I stood in the middle of my street and took this photo. I held my breath to keep the camera still, hoping I wouldn’t have to drag out the tripod as I was already in pajamas and ready to go to bed.

It turned out much better than I expected, although the clouds around the moon look a bit like I took a pencil eraser and tried to erase the moon.
