I’ve been in a funk for the past couple of months. It began when I dropped my camera the week before Christmas and it was not able to be fixed. Something about dropping it on the wood floor and the tumblers in the lens. I didn’t realize how much of my identity that camera had become. It seems silly to grieve for a camera, but I have grieved the loss of that camera and the loss of seeing the world through different eyes.

I’ve saved and shopped (and shopped and shopped) and have finally purchased a new camera. It will be here next week. I cannot wait.

I will see you soon – with photos to share and a new attitude. 🙂
