will officially be eleven years old in 15 minutes. It’s strange to think that my youngest child is this age.
When we were driving out to Mom & Dad’s house this afternoon, I was telling her about the day she was born. I told her how Julie had to run out to get the nurse because DD11 was coming and the nurse and doctor were not in the room with us.
DD11 was 6 pounds 6 ounces and 19 inches long. I’ll not ever forget holding her for the first time. I thought she looked a lot like DD13, who looked like Mom.
We found out on Friday that DD11 will be able to go to diabetes camp in June for three weeks. She’s really excited. I’m nervous, but I know it will be great for her. She goes on June 3 & will be home on June 22.
